Comet Fans AFH Fan Series for Rail Applications
The Comet Fans AFH high-performance fan series is designed to meet the most critical and demanding requirements in the cooling and ventilation systems of rail applications, ensuring excellent performance and low noise levels.
These fans are designed to deliver maximum performance through detailed aerodynamic studies of the impeller and stator components, creating an uncompromising axial fan with an optimal balance between reliability and performance, effectively meeting the industry’s stringent regulations.
AFH fans feature characteristics that make it easy to meet the technical specifications required by rail applications, while also offering extensive customisation options to suit the specific requirements of each project. Available with 2 to 6-pole motors, they optimise performance to promote energy efficiency and minimise noise levels.
The AFH series is manufactured with cast aluminium blades, featuring a robust design and a series of aerodynamic refinements that make it the best fan in Comet’s axial series. It is used in extreme climatic, environmental and temperature conditions, and in particularly demanding rail applications.
The selection of AFH fans for rail applications is carried out using the dedicated “Comet Fans” software, based on an extensive range of tests.

- Three-phase AC motors IP65, Class F or H, 50/60Hz, 2-6 poles, IEC 60349, with winding impregnation suitable for inverter-duty operation, EN 45545 certified and tested in accordance with IEC 61373
