MAP Series
MAP impellers ensure cooling and ventilation in extraction and refining plants, supporting the correct operation of heat exchangers, cooling towers and steam condensers. The aerofoil blade profile enables large air volumes to be moved efficiently, maintaining controlled temperatures and reducing the risk of overheating in compressors and pumps. Their modular structure and the option of ATEX certification make them ideal for high-risk environments, where reliability and safety are essential.
Blades:
- Made of extruded aluminium alloy with an aerofoil profile optimised to reduce turbulence and noise.
- Also available in special materials (FRP, PPG) for corrosive environments or ATEX applications.
Hubs:
Types F, P, D, designed for different diameters and loads.
Aluminium alloy or steel structure, with high mechanical strength.
Number of blades: from 3 to 16, configurable according to airflow and pressure requirements.

- MAP F Series: 350 ÷ 1.000mm
- MAP P Series: 500 ÷ 3.100mm
- MAP D Series: 1.000 ÷ 12.000mm
Blade pitch angle adjustment:
Ability to adjust the blade pitch while stationary to optimise the performance curve.
Operational Technical Parameters
- Maximum tip speed: up to 70 m/s (depending on diameter and configuration).
- Airflow: calculated using Comet Fans software, variable according to diameter, number of blades and pitch angle.
- Dynamic balancing to ISO standards to reduce vibration and extend service life.
